Compared to the previous J-Braid X8, the new Grand X8 features a stronger braid, resulting in higher knot strength and greater abrasion resistance.

A special procedure, which involves proper stretching of the J-Braid Grand X8 during the manufacturing process, further increases its load-bearing capacity.

The J-Braid Grand X8 is very soft and, thanks to its coated surface, also glides very quietly on the guides.

It is slightly stiffer than the J-Braid X8, making it better suited for fishing on windy days when casting is difficult.
