Surface preparation:
CX 5 is used for all types of fixing and anchoring works in concrete, with cement plaster, in brick masonry, and cement clone materials. The base must be solid, load-bearing, clean, and free of substances that could impair adhesion. Thoroughly pre-moisten the base, but do not allow water accumulation on the surface.
Application:
Pour CX 5 into clean, clear water and mix until the mass is completely lump-free. Mixing ratio (by volume): plastic consistency 3 parts CX 5 to 1 part water; pourable consistency 2 parts CX 5 to 1 part water. When processing large areas, CX 5 can be supplemented with clean, mixed grain size quartz sand in a ratio of 1:1 to make the application more economical. Apply the mixed cement mortar within the specified application time (about 4 minutes) - do not mix too long.
